I'm going to get my boots there since I want to actually try them on rather that hope for the best by post. I've got a few other bits and bobs to get as well.
The Malvern fair is all indoors - not as big as the one at Stoneleigh (also indoors) let alone Beltring, but plenty of stuff there. Good mixture of large and small companies, specialist and general plus some re-enactor static displays too.

*ehem* back to the topic ![]()
i'll be touting an HFC m712/c96 and a HS double barreled sawn off shotgun, king of the trenches and my favourite weapon for rushing snipers, it'll be my first foray into all things re-enactment, except the usual having tricolour clad armalite wielding players re-enacting infamous instances of friendly fire, but every airsoft players had that so it doesn't count.
Right now to butcher the english language and all historical accuracy... 3rd reich ftw!
Excellent - "Endsieg auf Deutchsland" ( Final Victory for Germany ) works as well
Ps wasn't kidding about those mortars ......

Am i impressed or what! ![]()

Oh and idea for mortars.
1. put an unfired airbag in morter
2. pour in 3000 bbs
3. aim in gerneral direction of enemy ( with a MINIMUM depression of 45%)
4. connect battery
5. SHOUT "FEUER"
6. flick switch
7. Everyone hit by BB RAIN, move to regen.
you would need a steel pipe for mortar.
I dont think this will be allowed, or practical, Just and idea. ![]()

I'v Managed to book the F&O M1A1 Thommy

good stuff... you contacted Gucci directly I assume?
Yep thats right.
I definatly dont want to use my own guns as the earlyist is an M16, Well at the moment anyway.
Have you been to crescins recently sombody told me they have a nice gas P38 in?

I should be bringing my Thompson although it is making some strange sounds, all metal 1911A1 as a back up & a mp5 just incase the Thompson dies,
Ste.D

Thought your Tommy sounded sweet!
After my Close Action Thompson death I have fixed mine hopefully - bottom bushes (metal!) were worn eliptical and caused everything to lock up. Luckily no damage to any teeth, just a bit of wear on the box casting where the bottom gear was tilted and rubbing - no wonder it has been shreaking for a while!
New bushes and non-return latch, threw in a new 1J spring while it was opened up and then treated it to a rather splendid walnut wood kit as a thank you present for being my favourite gun!
Plus the new addition - I now have a P38 & spare mag to drop into the previouslyy empty holster. What a sweet pistol! All the weight is deep in your hand and it seems very 'pointable' without using sights, if that makes any sense, probably because of the unshrouded barrel.

I have my Thompson in bits as we speak, just re greasing it & I have a 1 joule spring for it that I have extracted out of a ICS M4A1, My my full metal WE 1911A1 arrived yesterday from Airsoft World less than 24 hours from placing the order, I unpacked it out of the box & checked it out, very impressed with it, its nice & heavy with brown plastic grips, you have to remember the real steel ww2 1911A1's had plastic/bakalite grips too not wood ones, so it looks spot on, the metal finish is a very dark grey almost black finish which looks nice, only time will tell how durable this is, in the box where instructions for it & a target card to show its been checked & fired before despatch by Airsoft World to make sure its functioning correctly, something other retailers should do I think, also in the box was a spare magazine, I gassed up the magazines with abbey ultra gas & blasted several rounds off make sure it was working ok, each magazine holds 15 rounds, the action makes a nice metallic clunk with each shot as the slide cycles back & forth, I placed 15 beer cans along the garden fence ( the backdrop is safe ) & blasted at them in very quick succession at 10 meters, although I only managed to knock 5 off I think is shoots pretty good & should have no problem hitting person sized targets, I checked it on the chrono & it is over 300fps with marui 0.2 bbs, definitely something you guys should put on your wish list with Christmas on its way!

Bringing the recently acquired thompson (not been chronoed so not sure if it's any good) seems to do okay in the house though) and the M14. Does anyone have a bipod that would fit the M14 so it could be used as a BAR?
